The Scientific Committee invites authors to submit abstracts to be considered for inclusion in the programme.

Authors must follow the guidelines for abstract submission set out below. Abstracts not conforming to these guidelines will not be considered.

Abstract Submission Online

The abstract submission deadline is October 10th 2025

Guidelines for the Submission:

  • Abstract submission must be completed online via the Abstract Submission form in this website.  Abstracts sent by email will not be accepted.
  • Register to access the congress by the online registration form and submit your abstract from your private area. Follow all the steps.
  • In order to submit a communication, it is necessary that at least the presenting author is registered. 
  • All correspondence concerning the abstract will be sent to submitting author’s e-mail address.
  • Authors will be notified about the delivery of their abstract by e-mail immediately. In case you will not receive confirmation within 24 hours, please check your spam folder. In case of no confirmation e-mail, please contact Technical Secretariat
  • The final decision on acceptance or rejection of an abstract is made by the scientific and organizing committees.

Accepted abstracts will be presented as posters, but some of them will be also selected for a short talk presentation after the reviewing process. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to change the type of presentation.

The Short talks will have a duration of 8 minutes for oral presentation and 2 minutes for questions and answers (total: 10 minutes).

  • Make sure that the title and abstract do not exceed the maximum number of characters: 1800 abstract body.
  • The poster format should be vertical, with a size of 90 cm (width) x 120 cm (height).
  • Papers must be presented in English, both in poster format and if selected or short talks

Notification of Abstracts Acceptance to Authors: October 20th,  2025

Communications will be submitted under some of the following ten subjects:

  1. Topic 1: Introduction to global pangenomes for One Health
  2. Topic 2: Evolution of the pangenome and environmental interactions.
  3. Topic 3: Interconnected microbiomes and gene Exchange
  4. Topic 4: Pangenomic diversity in human and animal microbiomes
  5. Topic 5: The pangenome in infectious diseases
  6. Topic 6: The role of phages: from community dynamics to phage therapy
  7. Topic 7: Miscellanea

Once submitted, it is not possible to make any corrections to the abstract content or information (above all authors list and details). Changes will not be included in the publications.

If accepted, your abstract will be published as submitted.

Please check the co-authors before sending, title and co-authors will be published in the program exactly as you send them.

Please make sure to enter all your information. Don't forget to include the presenting author as one of the authors
